In 1971, a young Don Hinman worked for a large insurance company. He had been transferred to four towns in four years. He was about to be transferred to work in their home office. He had a decision to make, did he want to continue to work his way up the corporate ladder, or did he want a job where personal relationships mattered. He valued working with people like his neighbors and people he knew and cared about. As a result, he moved to Yakima and started an insurance agency from scratch, that became Mid-Valley Insurance, Inc.

Today, his son Tom, grandson Quintin and business associate Debbie Klecker carry on this culture of caring, compassion and expertise. Mid-Valley has many companies to choose from to cover your insurance needs with the latest technology to assist them.
