Don Hinman, CIC

President of Mid-Valley Insurance, Inc., Don graduated from Hasting College with a degree in Economics and Accounting and attended University of Nebraska Graduate School. Don started his insurance career in 1967 as a claims adjuster for a very large insurance company. In 1972, Don founded MVI from scratch and built it to what it is today. Don earned the prestigious CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation from The National Alliance of Insurance Education & Research in 1990.
Don is a member of Kamikan Kiwanis and has been the Board Chairman for Yakima Neighborhood Health since 1980. Don is a former Yakima City Council member.

Tom started his insurance career in 1990 as a life insurance agent before joining MVI in early 1991. He became a partner at MVI in 1994 and in 2003, received his designation of CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) from The National Alliance of Insurance Education & Research. In 2007, he was named Vice-President of MVI.
Tom is currently on the Yakima Parks and Recreation Commission Board and is involved in several community activities.

Debbie started in the insurance industry 1971. After several years in the private sector, she went to work for a large insurance company in 1986. After 16 years on the company side, she joined Mid-Valley Insurance in 1992. Debbie was named Secretary of the corporation in 2005.
